The urge to go all too often once we begin drinking adequate amounts of water is one of the most common concerns.

Frequent urination can definitely take over and interfere with our daily lives, which causes us to second-guess whether we should be drinking that much water or not. After all, the most water any of us ever thought that we should drink was the recommended eight glasses of water a day. Eight glasses of water per day once seemed like a lot of water. Throughout my entire life, I don’t think I ever drank more than a few cups of water a day. I just didn’t want to drink water.

The urge to eliminate can happen at inconvenient times, such as the middle of the night. When our urine is acidic, the intelligent body wants to expel the acidic urine immediately, which is a good sign. This usually occurs when the body begins detoxifying and cleaning itself out. The bladder must expel the acidic urine as quickly as possible because acids can cause damage and can burn the bladder. If you’re drinking the water and dealing with frequent urination, that’s a good sign. Please realize that, over time, it does calm down once there is less waste and acids in circulation for the body to expel.

Unfortunately, most of us are dealing with chronic dehydration issues because our natural species-appropriate diet was designed to be a diet of hydration. When we eat anything that is dehydrating, the body must use its hydration reserves to hydrate and move that food along for elimination.

It’s going to take time to rehydrate your body and to clean the waste out because most of us have 10, 20, 30 or more years of dealing with chronic dehydration issues without even realizing it.

There are many symptoms that can heal once we become hydrated, such as dry skin, dry brittle hair, fatigue, dizziness, headaches, chapped lips, mood disorders, cramps and so on.

Incorporating adequate water intake for myself was a game changer, and unfortunately it was a piece of the health puzzle that I wish I had learned much earlier on along my health journey. I originally began a mucusless diet after reading Arnold Ehret’s information, then I went into Dr. Morse’s information and adopted a 100 percent fruit diet. For the first seven years of my nine-year health journey, I didn’t drink enough water because no one talks about it. I just thought that because I eat so much fruit and greens, I was good with hydration. Most people on a fruit-based diet think this way. In fact, many of them don’t drink water at all!

How wrong was I!

It was learning more about Natural Hygiene that helped me to figure out the water piece of the health puzzle, which in hindsight seems so simple—too simple. Drinking adequate amounts of water has such a positive impact on how the body responds to all of our other healthy dietary and lifestyle practices, so please don’t neglect the water!

And don’t worry about frequent urination. It will pass. It’s a necessary part of the cleansing process that the body must go through to become a healthier version of itself.
