Are you willing to heal?

I am more than willing to provide as much information as I possibly can to help you find the path to wellness, yet unfortunately, not everyone is capable (or willing) of healing themselves at this point in time- for a few reasons.

  1.  One is that individuals must learn this information for themselves & they must apply it – day in and day out.  This information has got to be adopted as a long- term lifestyle, it’s not some fad diet that you can adopt for a year, with the intention of returning to old habits because it was the old habits that built the health issues to begin with.  It’s important to learn the information for yourself, take an interest, study it,  because when you learn the principals and the truth surrounding diet & disease, it is up to you to apply it, no matter what type of situation that you find yourself in, there is no manual for that.  Learn thy foods, so that you can effectively apply the principals to any situation that you may find yourself in.  It takes dedication and a deep understanding to help see you through the difficult times when cravings arise or when family members attempt to deter you because they lack understanding in that which you are trying to accomplish with your health.
  2. Willing to change.  One of the first questions I ask individuals is, how willing are you to change your diet & habits?  Honestly, unless one is desperate & living in pain, many individuals are simply not willing to change their diets that much. I see often that people have no issue changing most of their habits, but there always seems to be that one food that they are not willing to eliminate completely & unfortunately, if the foods that build disease are still included in the diet, even in small amounts, it will prevent the body from healing… We must remove all triggers for healing to take place.   If you are wanting to heal yourself, the first step is to examine all habits and food choices and to be willing to let go, paving the way for new habits and traditions more in line with the bodies true requirements.
  3. The current habits, lifestyle choices, traditions and ways of people have gone in the exact opposite direction of health.  What I mean is, at every turn there is a doughnut shop, fast food restaurant, family member cooking dinner, or a corporation handing out free hotdogs.  The world is sick, and the human race is in big trouble -health wise, hardly anyone can escape the temptations situated at every turn- that only serve as distractions, attempting to deter us from our goals and our path.  Fear surrounds the natural health world.  Doubt has been created surrounding natural methods and practices.  It takes a particularly strong individual, who is confident in their path, who has learned this information inside & out- to withstand all that comes with health & healing because at every turn, someone, or something, will unwittingly attempt to deter you from doing what is best for your health.  It’s the way of the world, most do not do it intentionally, yet they do, and it’s an obstacle to overcome daily.  The majority of people today celebrate unhealthy lifestyle choices on the regular, and you must be willing to stand out without apology, often alone…
  4. We live in a world where you can dig up a scientific study to back any so- called- healthy diet, or products that you wish to take.  We live in a confusion program.  One of the most difficult aspects with working alongside individuals is helping them to see that there is a lot of misinformation out there and that the truth is simple and goes overlooked for this very reason.  We tend to gravitate towards complication, we tend to gravitate towards that which we do not understand because if it sounds complicated and beyond our scope of comprehension, it must be true!  Unfortunately, we are all living among confusion & half truths and it once again takes a particularly strong and confident individual to recognize the truth and to apply it long term.
  5. The largest deterrent  that I see for individuals seeking health, that have the desire to heal , is that when we finally do create the correct conditions within- in order for the body to heal, our weaknesses come to light.  Our symptoms, or health issues, often become worse, before they get better.  This occurrence, if not fully understood, and often, it deters & even scares individuals from pursuing self healing.  Misinterpretation of the bodies processes that it must go through in order to heal can create doubt and confusion and cause one to change course, on to something else.

This is why it is imperative to learn this information for yourself. The only difficult part is deciding, who has the correct information?  Who should I listen to?  Everyone sounds convincing.  I will tell you where I found most truth, it was in older literature written in the 1700-1900’s.  Honestly, the human body hasn’t changed and our true requirements or that which we are designed to eat has not changed, it never will as we are designed just as every species is designed, with a species specific diet.

I also look for individuals who not only share information, but live the information that they share.  I feel this is very important because if you are going to put information out there, shouldn’t you be living it as well?  It only makes sense.  The way we look on the outside is a direct reflection of that which is going on in the inside.  I found most truth surrounding diet & disease in older books, by gathering the information of several health gurus and seeing that which they all had in common, and through living it myself, this in itself is ultimate verification – once you reach this point, nobody can ever mislead you again in matters of health.

We live in interesting times, and people are seeking answers more than ever before because people are suffering health wise.   What matters more than the information itself?  That which you choose to do with it.  Nature works slowly, there are no quick fixes and healing involves a lot of creativity & navigation, weaving in and out, throughout the current paradigms, finding your niche in order to successfully live in truth- among the rest of that which is out there.
