A Recipe For Poor Health…

I mentioned last week that I wanted to write out the contributing factors that led up to my poor health issues that eventually became almost unbearable by the time I was 35. If you haven’t read it click on the link: Health is an Inside Job.

Our health, or our poor health, is a summation or the result of our past dietary/lifestyle choices.  We BUILD our health issues, just the same as we BUILD our health issues – and every choice & decision counts in this equation.

My pains began at the age of 6.  This coincides with the time that I had suffered some personal trauma.  I won’t get into the details here, but I will say that stress is acidifying to the body and can lead to health issues in itself which it did in my case.  This pain that I experienced in my left leg would come on periodically over the years. It was so painful that it kept me awake at night and  It did not let up, and it continued into my 20’s and 30’s until I was able to figure out the true path towards healing.  As I mentioned in my last blog post ( Health is an Inside Job ), the doctors and specialists that I saw for this specific issue told me that I had a “dead nerve” in my leg and that I would be on pain medications for a lifetime to manage it – I have proven them wrong, this issue that plagued me for almost 30 years is now healed completely.

Some of the other contributing factors that led up & contributed to my poor health issues were the few vaccinations that I did receive.  The one I will mention in particular was the Hepatitis B vaccine.  We were lined up in the High school cafeteria in Grade 9 (I believe) without parental consent.  After the jab I quickly became dizzy and blacked out.  I was escorted to the school office where I laid down for hours.  I distinctly remember laying there, hardly able to see, it was if faces were fuzzed out, and I could hear – yet the voices were distorted.  I knew that I was surrounded by people, yet I was unable to communicate.  I can only describe this incident as temporary paralysis, I couldn’t move for a long period of time.  Laying there, in that state, was one of the scariest moments of my life and I know without a doubt that- that vaccine contributed to my poor health in life moving forward.

After a few hours, I regained consciousness and strength to move.  This incident went unreported.  I didn’t know what I should do if anything, so I just pushed this trauma to the back of my mind.  After that vaccine, I changed.  I lost motivation, I began skipping my classes and it was around this time that my eye sight began to decline.  I can’t tell you what the extent of the damage was to my health, that’s the beauty of vaccines, no one truly knows, yet damage had been done, toxins were injected into my body and I was not the same ever since.  The one positive aspect that came out of this incident was the fact that I became very weary, afraid and skeptical of vaccination from that day on.  Going through such a horrific incident may have affected my health, yet it made me stronger and more confident in other ways, never again did I want to become a victim.

Looking back, I just find it amazing with what the human body can endure in a lifetime and still regain health when we begin to supply the body with what the proper fuel and conditions that it requires to thrive.  Like anything worthwhile, building health requires effort and maintenance.  I could say the same thing for building disease, disease issues do not just come about for no reason, there are specific foods, choices and habits that lead up to disease issues that one “suddenly experiences”.

I grew up with an average diet, we didn’t eat much junk food, we didn’t eat in restaurants, we ate brown bread instead of white, honey instead of sugar, homogenized milk, lots of vegetables and very little variety of meat.  We didn’t eat chicken or pork really, I only remember having ground beef in the house.  My first time eating a steak was in high school.  Regardless, I was born with some genetic weaknesses due to my mothers poor health when she gave birth to me, combined with the health issues that I had already built in my childhood through stress, trauma, and vaccines- that my diet also contributed to my poor health.  If only I had known that dairy was mucus forming and extremely acidifying.  Dairy is one of the worst foods for humans to consume.  Dairy builds disease issues period.  We are not designed to drink another species milk, they tell us that dairy supplies the body with calcium – when in fact it is the opposite.  Consuming dairy causes the body to leach calcium from its own connective tissue in order to neutralize the acidity and to act as a buffer.  Consuming dairy actually causes calcium loss within our own body, the opposite to what we are taught to believe.

  I drank a lot of milk…

Everyday after school I would pour a large glass of this homogenized milk from the big plastic jug, put it in the freezer, and wait for it to become cold.  Then I would drink the entire glass really quickly.  I believe that it was this habit alone (combined with the daily cheese) that really caused my pains to become increasingly worse during my childhood.

It’s so unfortunate that the truth with what we humans require as dietary sustenance to thrive is virtually unknown in today’s world.

We are afraid of the “sugar content” in the only foods that can truly save our health

We are taught wrong habits and dietary information.  We pass on lies and misinformation.  The highway to hell is paved with good intentions.  We simply continue on with our parents dietary / lifestyle choices.

I suffered through a major car accident at the age of 17.  It was my fault, I was the driver.  I flipped the car upside down on a dark, rainy night – on a very windy, slippery road.  I was driving fast, and I took my last corner too fast.  I was lucky to be alive, and so was the passenger, she was a really good friend of mine.  We landed in the backyard of a rural property- after we hit the embankment and landed upside-down. The ambulance took 45 minutes to arrive and our local hospital was not equipped to deal with such injuries.   I won’t go into any more detail here, I only wanted to mention this because the amount of stress and injury which led to my newfound reliance on Tylenol 3’s definitely contributed to my health issues that I suffered through later on.  I broke my collar bone in this car accident, and later, I would discover that my hips were completely out of alignment.  I believe that it was this incident that contributed to my difficult time with healing, I had a lot to work through.   I carried a lot of guilt over this accident as I lived in a small town and I was responsible for causing harm to my friend.  I took on the guilt that it was my fault for her suffering.  I do not wish that type of guilt and stress on anyone.

Once I discovered that the Tylenol 3’s could numb my pain, and they were easy to get,  I began to use them more than what was required.  Then the regular headaches began to occur, I believe that between the car accident, my diet, the vaccine, the stress and the toxic pharmaceuticals, my body was extremely acidic and a considerable amount of damage to my organs and glands was taking place – yet at this time I knew nothing of how to properly care for myself.

I continued on into my 20’s, of course like most 20 year olds, I was into drinking and partying, eating junk foods and not thinking about my health.  The headaches continued to get worse.  Other symptoms surfaced such as acne, rosacea, mood swings, irritability, weight gain, etc.  I kept taking pills to numb the headaches.  Some nights, after drinking, I knew that a headache would be inevitable in the morning, so I would take 4-5 Advil for example so that when I woke up, I wouldn’t have to face the pain.  This went on for over 10 years.  It wasn’t until around the age of 30 that I began to wake up to a few things that changed the course of my life – slowly.

I won’t get into all the details here because It could take all day.  I’m just going to list the contributing factors that led up to my poor health issues below.  I will say that by the age of 35, I had a few scary incidents that were almost as frightening as blacking out from the vaccine, or experiencing a horrific car accident.  My body gave out at one point,  and I couldn’t walk for a few days.  I also experienced another incident where my entire body went numb and I couldn’t breathe properly.  These were all signs from my body to change my ways.

Once I began to realize that something had to change, and once I was open to it, the correct literature made its way into my. life.  It only took one book to change the course of my life.  This book came into my life when I was living on a 7 acre farm.  This book came into my life when I had moved to that farm so that I could know exactly what went on behind the food that I was consuming.  I was eating the meats, dairy, eggs from the land.  I was not getting better as I had hoped that I would.  I no longer ate anything processed or any junk food at all, yet my health was not improving because I wasn’t supplying my body with it’s proper fuel source.  It’s an impossibility to expect healing to occur when eating the very foods that contribute to disease issues.  So, It took this one book to lead me to the path towards healing.  Of course the book only supplied the information that I would require to heal, It was I that had to walk that difficult road.  It was I that had to change my entire life course in order to get on the correct road towards health.  It wasn’t always an easy road but I can’t imagine what my health would look like today had I not had taken that road.

Detoxification is not always easy, yet it is a necessary requirement for anyone that wishes to build health within their vessel.  We must remove the build up and eliminate the toxic chemistry that accumulates within-  and for the body to do so, we must create the correct environment within, and be patient.  We must also be willing to endure the difficult times that inevitably arise in order to reach the good times.  The body heals in cycles, we may feel great one week and just awful the next, yet it is all part of the process, and all that we can do is trust in that process because there is nothing that we can take, or do, in order to speed up the process or to numb that which we must face in order to regain our health again.

What contributed to my health issues?

1. Stress/Trauma

2. Vaccination

3. Major Car Accidents (I had 2)

4. Poor dietary Choices (dairy, meat, junk food, etc.)

5. Drinking Alcohol

6. Pharmaceutical Use (Tylenol, Advil, Tylenol 3, sleeping pills, birth control pills, etc.)

7. Lack of sleep

8. Poor lifestyle choices

9. Stressful Jobs

What amazes me, looking back, is the fact that most of what I just spoke about, and listed, seemed fairly normal while I was living it.  Experiencing pains seemed normal.  Having a doctor prescribe birth control for my leg pain because he suspected that it could be “hormonal” seemed normal.  Experiencing regular headaches seemed normal because many of my friends experienced them as well.  Looking back, knowing what I have learned today, I realize just how much suffering we are willing to endure.  If I hadn’t chosen to leave the city because growing food, self sufficiency and gardening became an interest, I don’t know where I would be today.  I do know that if I didn’t discover this life saving information with how to heal thyself, It wouldn’t surprise me if I would have been “diagnosed” by now with an awful disease name.  It’s so unreal with how far removed we are from the truth as a whole.  We accept a million different classifications and disease names for the one disease that we suffer with as a whole (wrong dietary/lifestyle choices).  It doesn’t matter which area of the body suffers or manifests symptoms, the path to wellness is the same path for each and everyone of us, we must eliminate the diseases forming foods / habits, clean up our lifestyles, focus, and walk backwards, healing and allowing the body to go through what it must in order to heal.  It is my hopes that someday the truth surrounding health and healing/detoxification is discovered by the majority.  We must heal on a large scale for real change to take place on our planet.  We cannot expect change in the world when we ourselves refuse to change.

—————- Change begins with ourselves.——————-

If we clean up our inner terrain and heal, that is when we can expect to see it reflected without. Change comes about slowly.  Building our health back comes about slowly.  It all begins and ends with ourselves and  we must be the change that we wish to see.

I am here for any guidance that you may require to get yourself on the road to health and healing.  I would suggest to book a one on one consultation with me, I feel that just this conversation alone helps equip the individual with the knowledge and strength that they need in order to get on track.
